The following is a list of things a mermaid would need to pack for a trip to the Indian Ocean:
mermaids.jpg
1. make sure to drink lots of Gatorade (electrolytes), so that your tail will light the wayin the dark parts of the Ocean 2. eat seaweed to ensure that you can breath long periods of time under water 3. reservations for a shell-ter 4. shellphone 5. good supply of Swedish Fish
Adventures in the Sea Gather a group of mermaids and mermen to go on a short trip to the Indian Ocean. The goal is to see the beautiful sight of a coral reef and take a picture. This will be a difficult task because the temperature has risen and 90% of the coral reefs are gone. If you can raise awarness about global warming then many more people will be able to experience the beautiful sight of a coral reef.

Invasive Species-
Caulerpa, Mediterranean Clone
-known as Caulerpa, Mediterranean Clone, or Killer algae
Habitat-
-rocks, sand, mud
Information
-This species was not always found in the Indian Ocean and was not meant to be there. This plant goes very fast and takes over huge amounts of the ocean. Caulerpa protects itself from fish, urchins and other herbivores becuase it is so toxic. Chlorine will kill the plant, but that is an unreasonable idea for the ocean.
